Who is Nichole Galicia?
Born Nichole Mercedes Robinson in Panama, on 27 March 1975 – her zodiac sign is Aries and she holds American nationality, as her family moved to New York State USA, not long after she was born. She’s an actress and former model, who has appeared in close to 20 movies and TV series, while she’s perhaps known best for her portrayal of Sheba in the critically acclaimed 2012 western movie “Django Unchained”. Written and directed by Quentin Tarantino, it starred Leonardo DiCaprio, Jamie Foxx and Christoph Waltz, and follows a freed slave and a German bounty hunter, who are trying to rescue the ex-slave’s wife from a plantation owner in Mississippi; the movie won 60 awards, including two Oscars for Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role and Best Writing, Original Screenplay, while it was nominated for 158 other awards.

Early life and education
Nichole was raised in New York State by her parents, about whom nothing’s known as she respects their privacy; it’s believed that her father was a baker, and that her mother was a hairdresser. Because Nichole hasn’t spoken of having any siblings, most of her fans believe her to be an only child.
She grew up being interested in numerous activities, but dreamed of becoming a model. Nichole played various sports at both elementary and high school, excelling in tennis and soccer, all because she believed being physically active would shape her figure, and prepare her for her modelling career.
Upon matriculating in 1993, she signed her first modelling contract, and thus didn’t enroll at college; she spent the following three years modelling around the US and Europe, prior to launching her career in the film industry.

Roles in movies
Nichole made her debut film appearance in the 1996 mystery science fiction thriller “Psychic Detectives”, and in 2002 starred in the music video “Aerosmith: Girls of Summer”.
She gained recognition when she played Yvonne Freeman in the 2003 romantic comedy drama “Love Don’t Cost a Thing”, written and directed by Troy Byer, and which starred Nick Cannon, Christina Milian and Jordan Burg. It follows a teenager who has paid a cheerleader to act as if she was his girlfriend, so that he would look cool; the movie was nominated for six awards. A couple of Nichole’s following roles were in the 2004 action crime comedy “Torque”, the short drama “The Marriage Counselor” and the crime thriller “Dirty”, both in 2005.
In 2013, she played The Bride in the short romantic science fiction “… and She Was My Eve”, while the following year saw Nichole play Juliet in the comedy drama “Wish I Was Here”. It was written and directed by Zach Braff, who also starred in it, alongside Joey King and Pierce Gagnon, and the film follows an actor who has to choose to either pursue his career or dedicate more time to his wife and children; the movie was nominated for six awards.
Nichole played Amanda in the 2015 drama “Supermodel”, and portrayed Kayla in the 2017 romantic drama “Romance at Reindeer Lodge”.
Her two most recent film roles have been in the 2018 thriller drama “The Perfect One”, and the 2021 mystery “Shimmer”.

She made her debut TV series appearance in the 2009 episode “Help” of the mystery crime drama “CSI: NY”.

In 2015, Nichole portrayed Kindzi in 11 episodes of the hit action science fiction drama “Defiance”, created by Kevin Murphy and Rockne S. O’Bannon, starring Grant Bowler, Stephanie Leonidas and Julie Benz, and follows the people living in Defiance, a city which is home to various alien lifeforms; the series was nominated for five awards, including a Primetime Emmy.
In 2021, Nichole was an extra in an episode of the western drama “1883”, and the same year saw her play Rebecca in eight episodes of the crime thriller drama “Mayor of Kingstown”.
Most recently, in 2022 she portrayed Charlotte Riley in the episode “Grass on the Streets and Weeds on the Rooftops” of the popular western drama “Yellowstone”.
Airing since 2018, it stars Kevin Costner, Luke Grimes and Kelly Reilly, and follows a family from Montana who are trying to protect their ranch from those who want them to sell it; the series has won three of the 20 awards for which it has been nominated, including a Primetime Emmy nomination.

Love life and relationships
Nichole is highly secretive when it comes to her love life, and has spoken about only a single man whom she has dated. Back in 2003, Nichole dated Trey Parker, a popular American actor, film producer and director, who’s probably known best for having co-created the critically acclaimed animated comedy series “South Park”. The two were seen together on a number of occasions, but apparently split after only a couple of months.
There are some of Nichole’s fans who claim that she’s perhaps bisexual, and believe that they have seen her being rather too close to a female friend at a party in Los Angeles; this hasn’t been confirmed, nor addressed by Nichole.
As of February 2022, she seems to be single, hasn’t married and doesn’t have children.
Hobbies and other interests
She’s highly active on Instagram, and apparently enjoys the attention which she’s receiving from her close to 100,000 followers; Nichole has uploaded more than 1,000 pictures onto the network, in most of which she’s advertising the movies and TV series in which she’s appeared.
She’s a huge animal lover, with her favorites being horses and dogs; Nichole is an avid horseback rider.
